With 9 days to go before the first ever FedGroup Presents Colour Me Crazy event in Johannesburg on the 21st September thousands of excited entrants are getting ready for a colour and music sensation like never experienced before!
Unlike the many colour festivals and colour runs that have become increasingly popular over recent months, Colour Me Crazy prides itself on the combination of both elements – with a 5km colour run, with blasts of colour powder at each kilometre, followed by a killer music festival with some of South Africa’s hippest and most happening local acts.
The impressive line-up includes performances by Mi Casa, Locnville, Dean Fuel, Roger Goode, Stephanie Be, Household Funk and Crazy White Boy who will be keeping energies high, even after the 5km fun run beforehand!
“The response has been phenomenal”, says Tavis Brown, organiser of the Festival. “We are looking at upwards of 10 000 people of all age, shapes and sizes participating in the event this year and look forward to a day packed with sun, movement, energy, music and a whole lot of colour!”
Individuals of all age are welcome to join in on the fun! Kids 6 and under run for free and there will be a designated kids play area with plenty of child minders to keep the tots busy. For the older crowds there will be designated bar areas to grab drinks whilst enjoying the colourful and electric atmosphere.
