As massive fans of the EPL and football in general, we follow a lot of people who love football on twitter! We asked them to give us their thoughts on their team and a randomly selected other team. The responses were received in a range of a month, so if some of the guys sound confused about a slump or climb, forgive us for our tardiness! Of course you can also have a good laugh at those whose predictions are already horribly off and quickly ask for betting advice from those who are correct!

Your team: Manchester City
Favourite Player: Sergio Aguero
Best Signing: Sergio Aguero
Biggest Disappointment: Carlos Tevez
Overall view of assigned teams season: Swansea have surprised all this season with their excellent and confident football. Hopefully they’ll continue the good work and football they’ve been playing and finish the season as a strong midfield club. I expect this team to grow as they have an excellent young manager in Brendan Rodgers and his tactics will pay dividends and they won’t be a once off Premier League club.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: 10th
Best Signing: Michael Vorm
Have they had a better season than your side? We were top of the table, though Swansea have surprised everyone with their performances and I feel that they with Norwich are the stand out performers this season.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Williams, would make an excellent squad member, adding a lot to our defensive back up.
Joel Silva @JoelBattySilva
Website: www.speedandsounds.co.za
Your team: Everton
Favourite Player: Leighton Baines
Best Signing: Steven Pienaar
Biggest Disappointment: Not enough funds for manager David Moyes to flourish.
Assigned Team: Newcastle
Overall view of assigned teams season: Newcastle had an awesome start to the season, after a tough summer, losing Joey Barton and Jose Enrique. Whatever happens, manager Pardew has proved to the die-hard Geordie fans they should trust his ability to rebuild.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: Mid-table
Best Signing: Demba Ba
Have they had a better season than your side? No, pretty much equal to ours. They’re in the middle of a slight slump whilst Everton’s best players are returning from injury.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one! Demba Ba
Taryn Miles @tarynmn
Your team: LIVERPOOL “YNWA”
Favourite Player: Very hard to just select one so I have gone with two. Gerrard because despite his injuries and that he is getting old (for football) he is still quality to watch. Suarez simply because he adds a level of excitement to LFC game play, you never know what to expect from him or his attitude, controversial player yet damn good.
Best Signing: Bellamy – however he doesn’t get enough time on the field. He is a fast, tactical and one of those forwards that can just change the dynamics of a game and he has improved LFC’s possession of the ball, when he has played.
Overall view of assigned teams season: Tottenham have definitely found a method/ remedy that works for them this season. Impressive midfield and just overall they playing much better than last season. They most definitely going to give Man Utd a run for second place but they are having a really good season.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: They could comfortably finish 3rd. They have a leap on Arsenal and Chelsea with LFC and Newcastle further on from that.
Best Signing: Scott Parker – most definitely one of those players you enjoy watching.
Have they had a better season than your side? Most definitely, they’ve played really impressive football this season
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one! Kyle Walker – talent that can go far
Marcel Sigg @TheSigg
Website: www.runridedive.com
Your team: Manchester United
Favourite Player: Antonio Valencia
Best Signing: Phil Jones/Chris Smalling/ David De Gea/ Ashley Young / Frederic Veseli
Biggest Disappointment: Paul Scholes coming out of retirement & Ryan Giggs not going to retirement
Assigned Team: Manchester City
Overall view of assigned teams season: Manchester City are enjoying a good season. They are currently top of the Premier League, if only just, and still in the Europa Cup. They will be disappointed that their massive spending in the previous two seasons didn’t get them into the latter stages of the Champions League where the real money is made but at the same time they also know that finishing in the middle ranks of Europa is still infinitely better than winning a mediocre domestic cup like the Carling or FA Cup for the balance sheet and if you want to attract World Class overseas based players.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: Manchester City will definitely finish in the top 3.
Best Signing: Yaya Toure
Have they had a better season than your side? Both teams are at the sharp end of the Premier League and both are still playing in the Europa Cup.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one! Yaya Toure
Jabu himself @TyronBarnard @ATJabu
Website: http://allthingsjabu.co.za
Your team: Arsenal
Favourite Player: Robin van Persie (Thats not a difficult answer) and Alex Song
Best Signing: Most definitely Mikel Arteta, although he is not in the Fabregas mould, he has been outstanding for Arsenal this season
Biggest Disappointment: The Summer set the tone for the year, we waited forever to sell players, then waited forever to buy. But the biggest disappointment is quite simply the fact that this Arsenal side can be riveting (See Chelsea away and Tottenham at home) and appalling (United, Milan and Blackburn away) in equal measures.
Overall view of assigned teams season: Well it started with a ridiculous accumulation of nothing as Steve Bruce conspired to transfer a top 10 team into relegation also-rans. The arrival of Martin O’Neill has transformed them and apart from this weekends blip against West Brom they are possibly the hardest team to beat in the league right now!
Where do you think they would finish in the league: I think 8th, just ahead of Norwich, just behind Liverpool
Best Signing: Martin O’Neill
Have they had a better season than your side? Simply stated, no.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one! Well, i guess it would have to be Sebasstien Larsson, the Swedish ex Gunner is the best dead ball player in the league and would add a new danger to the Arsenal attack.

If you could take one player from them for your side choose one– Charles N Zogbia
Rowen Naicker
Your team: Chelsea

Overall view of assigned teams season: Been average compared to team list
Where do you think they would finish in the league: 5th/6th
Best Signing: Van Persie
Have they had a better season than your side? Nope
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Van Persie
Dave Taylor @DaveTheCarGuy

Overall view of assigned teams season: AVERAGE
Where do you think they would finish in the league: 2ND
Best Signing: DANNY WELBECK
Have they had a better season than your side? YES
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one! ANTONIA VALENCIA
Amith Gosai @AMG133
Website: http://amg133.blogspot.com
Your team: Liverpool FC
Favourite Player: Steven Gerrard
Best Signing: Craig Bellamy
Biggest Disappointment: Roy Hodgson
Overall view of assigned teams season: They’ve always been a strong side at home, obviously with change in managers over the past 2 seasons it did affect their performance but under the guidance of Martin Jol they seem to be doing well.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: Mid table.
Best Signing: Pavel Pogrebnyak, still new to the EPL but has a true strikers instinct.
Have they had a better season than your side? No they havent, we’ve already got silverware in the cabinet.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Would love to see Danny Murphy back in the Liverpool red.
Timothy Hills @AKA_TheGun_AKA
Your team: Liverpool
Favourite Player: Dirk Kuyt
Best Signing (this season): Jose Enrique
Biggest Disappointment (this season): Jordan Henderson (Adam a close 2nd)
Overall view of assigned teams season: Having a blistering finish to the season
Where do you think they would finish in the league: Rate a 14th would be a huge accomplishment
Best Signing (this season): Ben Foster on loan has been great. Liam Ridgewell at the back has been a solid signing from Birmingham though
Have they had a better season than your side? Probably, in terms of what they have set as goals
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Tough one between Odemwingie and Shane Long. Shane Long will be a future star.
Samantha Robinson @samrobinson25
Website: http://samrobinson25.wordpress.com/
Your team: Liverpool
Favourite Player: Steven Gerrard
Best Signing: Craig Bellamy
Biggest Disappointment: tie between Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez
Overall view of assigned teams season: without doing any research on them and just a complete overview of what I know from following results I would think they are a mediocre team. No real threat to anyone but they have the ability to pull off surprise wins when big teams least expect it. Like their win against Liverpool at the beginning of the year
Where do you think they will finish? Where they have finished. Closer to the bottom of the table
Best Signing: Yakubu
Have they had a better season than your side? Nope
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Paul Robinson
Carly Weinberg @CarlyW226
Website: http://carlyadno.tumblr.com/
Your team: Arsenal
Favourite Player: Robin Van Persie
Best signing: Yossi Benayoun
Biggest disappointment: Theo Walcott
Overall view of assigned teams season: Norwich haven’t had a fantastic season, though they have recorded a couple of good wins. They’ve beaten Swansea, done the double over Bolton and beat Newcastle 4-2. They’ve also only lost 11 matches – that’s just three more than my team, Arsenal.
Where do you think they will finish: They’ll probably finish in the middle to lower half of the table, but they’ll be safe from the relegation zone.
Best Signing: For his 10 goals this season, their best player has probably been striker Grant Holt.
Have they had a better season than your side? Norwich haven’t done better than Arsenal this season.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: If there’s one player I had to choose to come to Arsenal it would be Steve Morison. He’s probably been one of their best signings this season.
Dan van Hemert @dan_vh
Your team: Tottenham Hotspurs
Favourite Player: Bale as the stand out but more than a handful are my favourite
Best Signing: Brad Friedel
Biggest Disappointment: Luka Modric
Overall view of assigned teams season: Did not meet expectations
Where do you think they would finish in the league: Top 6
Best Signing: Their next manager
Have they had a better season than your side? Recently yes, but in perspective, not.
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Kuyt and Carroll
Natalie le Clue @nlc27
Your team: Arsenal
Favourite Player: Robin van Persie
Best Signing: Gervinho
Biggest Disappointment: Andrey Arshavin
Assigned Team:QPR
Overall view of assigned teams season: Not a terrible season so far. I feel was a bit unfair of Fernandes to sack Warnock. Yes, they weren’t scoring/winning but they were playing decent football. He did a great job getting them into the premiership, QPR were miles better than Swansea and Norwich in the Championship, so maybe he should have been given a little more time and a chance to find his feet. Mark Hughes is a good fit as the new QPR manager but you have to question if he will make a long term commitment to the team.
Where do you think they would finish in the league: It’s difficult to imagine them not being relegated. But with a little bit of luck they may just scrape through.
Best Signing: Bobby Zamora was a bargain. He may be 31 but QPR are getting an experienced striker for only 6 million quid.
Have they had a better season than your side? Hell No. 🙂
If you could take one player from them for your side choose one: Adel Taarabt. He had great potential if he can reign in his ego
